Red Hot Onion Chutney

I secretly envy my son Sriduth on a lot of counts, but NOT on the Breakfast that he has! One of the reasons is this Onion Chutney.

Here’s how.

Good big onions. Ground four of them to a paste and add two teaspoonfuls of red chilly powder and salt to taste. Now, heat a frying pan and pour two table spoons of cooking oil into it. Wait till it gets really hot. Now, stir fry the onion-chilly paste in it and add curry leaves.

Serve hot with anything, World Cup Football included! Bread, Rice, Good ole’ South Indian Idlies, Dosa, Noodles. As for Sriduth, he can keep on having his cereals.
